People always like to place their best expectations and blessings in spring. With such expectations, we began to contemplate the design context and logic of the 'Spring is Coming' project.
As an outstanding local catering company in Nanchang, Jiangxi, we were entrusted with a new 3,000-square-meter project. Various topics arose during our initial discussions, encompassing culture, history, commerce, and folk traditions, along with the interplay of tradition and innovation. However, when we distill it down to its core essence in the realm of business, we remain committed to highlighting and conveying the local cuisine and folk flavors.
In pursuit of this goal, we are amalgamating traditional Huizhou architecture and the ambiance of a market, shaping an architectural language for the internal spaces. Our entrance foyer, designed to create an immersive experience, serves as an excellent point of entry. We aim to transform the external chaos into a picturesque scene and, through meandering garden pathways, convert a simple entrance into a pathway that leads to the essence of spring. The immense circular umbrella-shaped roof in the interior space embodies the spirit of traditional Chinese pavilions. By incorporating a color scheme, we aim to enhance the purity, tranquility, and poetic essence of spring.
